The first time I did a detox, it seemed crazy to me as well as the people around me. (I wasn’t a healthy eater back then, so the prospect of cutting unhealthy stuff out of my diet for 2 weeks felt overwhelming because it seemed like there was nothing left for me to eat.)
That was almost ten years ago, and my perspective’s changed a lot since then. In fact, I’m sure that my diet wouldn’t have evolved to what it is now had I not gone down that path.
