There are definitely times when it seems things aren’t going to plan: My diet. My yoga practice. My career. My life. (Even this post — I originally started writing it in November. It’s now May. You can see the irony!)

It happens to all of us from time to time. Despite our best efforts, our old patterns creep up and take over again, leaving us back where we started, or sometimes somewhere even further behind.

It can bring up a lot of questioning and feel frustrating and confusing and irritating: Why is this happening to me? How did I end up here? What was I thinking?
