Feel like a new person

Kundalini yoga is a fast way to release stress and relax the body, as well as the mind.

Escape the busy-ness of everyday.

Each class will leave you feeling calm, refreshed and ready to take on whatever’s next (like those crazy dreams of yours).

“After my first class with Aili, I slept better than I had in a long time. And with each class, I feel more and more layers of stress melting away.”

Slow down.

Catch your breath.

Move your body.

Clear your mind.

"Since I started coming to class, I’ve noticed that my mood is brighter and I have more energy."

This isn't for everyone. But it's for you if you want to:

  • Infuse meditation with movement
  • Elevate your yoga class from a workout to spiritual practice
  • Deepen your connection with yourself and something greater
  • Tune into the energy and wisdom within
  • Get more comfortable going outside your comfort zone

“I feel like I have more energy. I like Kundalini yoga better than other yogas I’ve tried. It’s a more relaxing yoga. Plus, I’m able to fall asleep and stay a sleep more nights than before I started coming to class.”

“I am fascinated with this very different style of yoga. I am having amazing results and taking care of myself like never before!”

“I know Kundalini yoga is a bit unconventional, but it has helped me become a better version of myself. It has helped me follow my heart. It has allowed me to challenge my perceived limitations of body and mind. It also helps me quiet the busy (and sometimes not so positive) mind.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I’m not flexible and/or out of shape?

That’s not a problem. With practice, Kundalini yoga will help. It’s important to take the practice at your own pace, meaning, do whatever feels right for your body in each and every single class. Some days, that may mean pushing yourself. Other days, it may mean sitting out for part of the set. The key thing is to pay attention and listen to the wisdom of your body.

Do I have to sit on the floor?

If sitting on the floor is not an option for you, you’re welcome to use one of the chairs available. Kundalini classes start and end sitting cross-legged on the floor and sometimes there’s some sitting in between as well, depending on the set. To make sitting on the floor more comfortable, please bring along a meditation cushion or pillow if you have one.

I’m new to Kundalini yoga. Is that ok?

Absolutely! At some point, we were all beginners. No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary. All levels and bodies are welcome.

What is Kundalini yoga?

Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. It’s different than other kinds of yoga as it includes more focus on the breath, as well as meditation, ritual and devotion.

I’m planning to come for the first time. What should I bring?

Awesome! Please show up 5-10 minutes early for your first class. Wear comfortable, yoga-friendly clothing, and dress in layers as the room temperature can vary. Bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a meditation cushion (if desired) to each session.

Where do I go in the building?

At Estonian House, the Gallery Room is easiest to access from the front entrance on Broadview. Go up the small flight of stairs and it’s the first room on the right.

Can you let me know when more class dates are available?

Definitely! Sign up above and you’ll be the first to know. You’ll also get my blog posts in your inbox so we can keep in touch.

Are you available for private sessions?

I’d love to if it works with my schedule. Please send me an email with what you’re looking for (date(s), time(s), location, number of people, number of classes) and I’ll provide you with a quote.

I have another question that isn’t answered here.

I’d be happy to answer it. Email me and ask away!

“You are always so calm and the pace of the class is nice and easygoing. Occasionally we have to stretch a little, and you encourage us to do the best we can. I really appreciate how the breathing and relaxation exercises help quiet a racing mind.”

“I’m enjoying the efforts and feel good afterwards. This is motivating me to refocus on health and spirit.”
